There’s a chill in the air.

Of all the seasons, winter is definitely my favorite. Though I am usually covered in three layers of clothing and my nose turns red like Rudolph due to all the cold, I still adore the winters. These days when I drive up and down the hill that I stay on, I can feel the chill in the air and it’s endearing. I look forward to the times when I can snuggle up in a blanket and also enjoy a glass of hot chocolate without breaking out in a sweat.

It is time again for hot khichdis and hot pakodas in the evening, time for hot brandy with a dash of honey and lemon, time for my nose to clog up and my sinuses to act out again, time to take out all my sweatshirts and wear them everywhere… I totally adore winters in spite of the fact that they pretty much kill me… making my nose bleed, my hands numb … but I still love them. As I tell my hubby its easier to put on clothes than to remove them… 😉

This winter ofcourse we will be here in vizag which frankly isn’t really something I am looking forward to. Vizag winters are like Bangalore summers where a pleasant breeze out of nowhere is the only indication that winters have set in. It is frustrating at times but what can one do. All I can hope is that the place I live will be a little chillier owning to the measly height it has compared to the rest of the place.

So here’s to foggy mornings, chilly evenings and loads of warm clothes!!!
