A cold rainy evening with a plate of hot Momos…hmmm!!! Totally the way I would love to spend a evening at home with my beloved. Over three tries I have finally managed to get the momos right.
Here’s What you would need:
All Purpose flour
chopped onion, coriander, green chillies ginger and garlic
For the covering :
Prepare the dough by kneading the all purpose flour with warm water and a little oil. it should be soft to touch.
Dont forget to add a pinch of salt.
For the filling :
Mix the minced chicken with the rest fo the chopped stuff and a little soya sauce.
DO NOT add salt. At the end mix butter to the mixture.
Roll out small circular flour shapes. Make sure they are as thin as you can handle
You filling should look something like this (I added too much soya sauce by mistake, so yours will be a lighter version of this)
Add a spoonful of the filling in the flour cover that you rolled out.
Pull the ends together to make tiny frills around . Do not close completely.

So once you get all these little momos ready, steam them for about 15-20 minutes.
Enjoy them while they are hot with either some hot garlic sauce or with tomato sauce.
